#Flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and a Saudi airline, has announced plans to transport more than 100,000 pilgrims from more than 13 countries during the Hajj season of 1444 AH (2023 AD), bringing the total number of pilgrims and Umrah performers flown by the carrier to more than two million since its founding in 2007.

Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, #Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana, Niger, Comoros, India, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan are among the countries from which flynas would transport pilgrims in 1444 AH. Other countries include Burkina Faso, India, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan.

The company has finished making all the necessary preparations to guarantee that the Holy Mosque’s visitors have the greatest treatment and experience when boarding the aircraft and during the phases of reception and departure after completing the Hajj. Additionally, a specialized executive team will be available and operating round-the-clock from the main operations control centre to monitor the operational procedures, attend to the needs of the pilgrims, and provide all the resources required for their comfort in collaboration with the managements of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, as well as the relevant governmental authorities.

In preparation for the Hajj season, flynas took delivery of its fourth wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft in early May. This increased operational capacity and increased passenger numbers on new medium-to-long-haul destinations are in line with the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which calls for 330 million passengers and more than 250 international connections to the Kingdom by 2030.

The goal of flynas’ development and expansion strategy, which it unveiled in early 2022 with the tagline “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” is to reach 165 domestic and foreign locations.

Since its founding in 2007, flynas has transported more than 60 million passengers between more than 70 local and foreign destinations.
