Since assumption of office as the Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura only performed hajj operation once and that is in the year 2019.
Despite his relative short time in the hajj operation, Mallam Idris Almakura’s operation was considered to be one of the best ever in the Nasarawa state hajj exercise, considering the introduction of some new innovations geared towards improving the welfare of Pilgrims from Nasarawa State.
The success of that year operation manifested when INDEPENDENT HAJJ REPORTERS awarded Nasarawa State as the MOST Organised States during Hajj 2019 operations collaborating the testimony we gather from some Nasarwa State after the Hajj. The enlightments program in that year was also a success
Following the cancellation of hajj operation for two consecutive years as a result of COVID-19 pandemic, Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has always been in the forefront in protecting the interest of the Nigerian Pilgrims through the support accorded to him by the NAHCON BOSS and other stakeholders in hajj matters.
The recent appointment of Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura as the Vice Chairman Forum of Executive Secretaries, States Pilgrims Boards of Nigeria, didn’t came to people of Nasarawa State as a surprised in view of his commitment to duty and respect for relevant stakeholders in the country and beyond.
The Ja’iz Town Hall meeting hosted by Nasarawa State Pilgrims Board under Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura has further redefined his capacity and made all stakeholders who attended the meeting to understanding that the board Under Almakura is gaining support from the Nasarawa State government.
The successful hosting of the Ja’iz meeting was a clear indications that Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura will no doubt make a difference as the New Vice Chairman of the Forum of Executive Secretaries in the country.
While the entire staff and management of the Nasarawa State Pilgrims Board congratulate Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura for the new position, the board is optimistic that the chairman and all the secretaries will not regret working with him.
Once again congratulations to Mallam Idris Ahmad Almakura for achieving so many things within the shortest possible time.
