Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State, has approved with immediate effect, the appointment of Abubakar Babangida, Tafidan Giade as the new Executive Secretary, Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
A signed statement by the Special Assistant, New Media to the Governor, Lawal Mu’azu Bauchi, said the appointment of the new Executive Secretary is in line with section 15(ii) of the law that established the Board.
The statement said the appointment of Abubakar Babangida was based on his knowledge, experience, commitment as well as a high sense of responsibility.
Governor Bala Mohammed in the statement expressed hope that the appointee will continue to exhibit these attributes in the discharge of his assigned responsibilities and be guided by the principles of due process.
Abubakar Babangida hails from Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
