BREAKING: Saudi Arabia to search for crescent of Ramadan on Sunday evening, Sha’ban 29, 1442
The Saudi Arabia Supreme Court has called on all Muslims throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to investigate the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan officially on Sunday evening, Sha’ban 29, 1442 H according to umm al qura calendar, corresponding to April 11, 2021.
Further to this, the court announced a second sighting for Monday evening, April 12, 2021 due to inconsistencies in the umm al qura calendar and the moon sighting results for entry into Sha’ban.
In its announcement, the Supreme Court called on whoever sights the crescent by naked eyes or through binoculars to report to the nearest court and register his testimony.
