Eid al-Fitr to begin on Thursday 13th May 2021 in Saudi Arabia

 

 

Eid al-Fitr in Saudi Arabia will fall on Thursday, May 13 as the Shawwal moon was not sighted in the kingdom on Tuesday, according to media reports.

 

The crescent moon was not sighted at the observatory of Al Majmaah University in Hotat Sudair.  As per the scientific calculation the Shawwal moon is not visible Today, It can be seen tomorrow on Wednesday evening.

 

Hence this year Ramadan in Saudi Arabia 1442 AH will be 30 days fasting.
