The inaugural airlift of Nigerian pilgrims to 2019 Hajj exercise will start today July 10 with intending pilgrims from Katsina State. The first batch of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Advance Team comprising 39 members of staff for Hajj operations left for Saudi Arabia last Friday.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NAHCON Barr. Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad escorted the pilgrims to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja in company of other management staff.
A 15-man National Medical Advance Team led by Dr Ibrahim Kana also departed for Saudi Arabia.
