The reports of sokoto state government delegation to 2018 hajj has been submitted to Sokoto state Governor Rt Hon.Aminu waziri Tambuwal on Thursday in the council chamber government house in Sokoto.
Presenting the report , Sokoto Amirul hajj and leader of the delegation professor Bashir Garba said the hajj exercise was a huge success.
The Amirul hajj explained that about 3000 pilgrims from the state conducted the hajj exercise, adding that no loss of life was recorded from the state during the hajj operations.
Prof Bashir Garba expressed gratitude to all those that contributed to the success of the operation.
The leader of the delegation on behalf of others congratulated the Governor and his deputy on their election victory.
Receiving the report Governor Aminu waziri Tambuwal commended members of the delegation for a job Weldon.
Tambuwal further applauded hajj stake holders in the state for their individual and collective contributions to the success of the hajj exercise.
The Governor also commended officials of the state pilgrims welfare Agency for their efforts of improving the hajj services for the state pilgrims.
He assured that government would study the report to identify lapses with a view to improving on them.
