Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has commended the Independent Hajj Reporters, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and JA’IZ Bank PLC for successful launch of Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS).
Recall that NAHCON, in collaboration with JA’IZ Bank, on Sunday launched the bank-led scheme in Kano state, aimed at creating an opportunity for all Muslims in Nigeria to perform Hajj at least once in a lifetime.
In a tarsed statement, the Yobe Pilgrims Commission also appreciated the efforts of Kano Pilgrims Welfare Board for its “immense support towards the actualization of the programme.”
It would be recalled that Hajj Reporters had provided live update of the launching programme in all its platforms, including Hausa version.
The Pilgrims commission, therefore, recognized that effort and appreciated the Civil Society Organization that had excelled in reporting of Hajj and Umrah activities around the globe.
