NAHCON Inspects Bauchi Hajj Camp project, Commend State Pilgrims Board   ,

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON applauded Bauchi State Government towards its efforts to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to the Muslim Pilgrims.

 

The Chairman/ CEO of the Commission, Alhaji Zikrullahi Kunle Hassan made the commendation while inspecting the ongoing new hajj transit camp project in Bauchi.

 

The Chairman noted that the project, if completed, would be the best hajj transit camp in Nigeria, acknowledging it as the 22nd century standard.

 

According to him the Bauchi State proposed Camp is something that can be showcase internationally interms of its construction plan and quality.

 

The Chairman therefore expressed commitment of  the commission to continue to support Bauchi State  to implement all its  hajj policies and programmes.

 

In his address during the inspection of the New transit camp, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State Senator Baba Tela stressed that the Bauchi Government has placed more priority to the welfare of Pilgrims (Guests of Allah).

 

Other dignitaries who accompanied  His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State included the Hon commissioner of religious affairs, the chairman committee on religious affairs Bauchi State House of assembly, the special adviser to His Excellency on hajj affairs, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board among others.

 

Meanwhile the NAHCON Chairman and his entourage also paid courtesy call on HRH the Emir of Bauchi Alh. Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu.

 

In his speech the Emir if Bauchi congratulated the new Chairman NAHCON for his new appointment by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.

 

HRH advised him to carry everyone along while discharging his official responsibilities in order to justify the confidence reposed in him by Mr. president.
