Bahrain Hajj operators concerned over ‘pilgrimage fee hike’

 

 

HAJ operators in Bahrain have raised concerns over financial losses as an unexpected hike in fees for the pilgrimage services has been issued by authorities across the border. Among this year’s increased charges by authorities in Saudi Arabia are Value Added Tax (VAT) and transportation fees, which have impacted the overall travel costs by an increase of more than BD100 per pilgrim from Bahrain.
