Bauchi Pilgrims Board Lauds NOA, seeks partnership on Hajj activities

The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commended the National Orientation Agency (NOA) for its continuous support on hajj activities, asked for stronger ties with the NOA to deliver a quality service to its Pilgrims.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris gave the commendation when the NOA led by its state Director, paid him a courtesy call in his office.

 

Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris said NOA is a key stakeholder in hajj management, noted that  NOA activities played vital role in assisting the Pilgrims to abide by the rules and regulation of Saudi  and Nigeria during hajj exercise.

 

He expressed readiness to continue to work with NOA and all other relevant stakeholders to ensure a hitch free hajj exercise.

 

Earlier in his remark, the state Director of NOA, Alh. Nuru Yusuf Kobi said  the visit aimed at to congratulate the new Executive Secretary on his well deserved appointment by the Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, Kauran Bauchi.

 

Nuru Yusuf Kobi explained that the public enlightenment and citizens mobilisation on value orientation are part of the priority of his Agency.

He therefore expressed his Agency’s commitment to work with the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and pledged to support the Board in the area of Pilgrims education and enlightenment.

 

In another development today, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has received a meritorious Award of excellence, presented to him by the Trusted Northern Youth Awareness  Abuja.

 

The Award ceremony which held at the conference hall of the Board was a result of his selfless service to humanity and his advocate for religious tolerance to promote peace and unity in our societies.
