Al-Amiri added: “There are more than 1200 hotels in Makkah Al-Mukarramah that contain more than 270,000 hotel rooms with a high-quality classification, according to international standards, and in Medina there are more than 75,000 hotel rooms dedicated to housing visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque coming from inside and outside the Kingdom. The regulations for housing pilgrims include displaying qualified and licensed homes and hotels through the marketing platforms in the cities of Jeddah, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah and the various cities of the Kingdom, and to be classified from categories (3/4/5) stars with the application of the requirements for the protocols of tourist accommodation facilities. And the commitment to include the room price announced on the marketing platforms with the allocation of an employee to receive the pilgrims at the hotel (for each group) to finish the housing procedures and confirm the actual housing data for the pilgrims on the electronic path.

Al-Amiri indicated that visual screening points have been provided to all residents of the residence, and all workers have been trained on precautionary and preventive measures, and that the number of individuals should not exceed two per room, with the application of social spacing of at least one and a half meters between the family, and the obligation to follow up that pilgrims and visitors do not leave the residence before the end The period of compulsory health retirement for the first three days and the allocation of supervisors and security guards in each hotel to organize the exit of pilgrims and visitors and provide all the requirements during the isolation period.
