Hajj 2021: Singapore Hajj Boss briefs parliament on Preparations

 

 

The Head of Singapore Muslim Hajj body, Saktiandi Supaat appeared in the parliament to answer questions non plans for Hajj 2021 and Umrah pilgrimages for Singapore Muslims

 

He told the parliament that  “Singapore Muslims were unable to perform the Haj and Umrah pilgrimage last year due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.

He raised the question on how Singapore was working with the Saudi authorities in seeing that Singaporeans would be able to perform their pilgrimage safely after the restrictions were lifted, and when Singapore Muslims would be able to perform the annual pilgrimage. He also asked if vaccination would affect their chances.
