HAJJ: FCT Gets Award Of Excellence In Service Delivery

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has been awarded as the best in hajj camp services during the 2019 hajj exercise.

The Award was presented to board in recognition of its outstanding performance on the welfare of the pilgrims at the Annual Award of Excellence ceremony organized by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) concern with Hajj Affairs in the country,

Receiving the Award for the FCT, the Director of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Muhammed Nasiru Danmallam who appreciated the gesture pledged the commitment of the present Administration in providing outstanding services to its contingent during hajj exercises.

Mallam Nasiru Danmallam said the Board would continue to strive toward setting the standard in all components of hajj operation that would enable it to maintain the position of excellence in the country.

The Director disclosed that the Board has put in place a number of plans to enhance its services and ensure a hitch-free 2020 hajj exercise in line with the desire of the FCT Administration.

He stressed that the award would ginger the morale of the staff of the board in rendering services to the FCT contingents to Saudi Arabia.

The event was well attended by major stakeholders in hajj Affairs in the country such as the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Members of the National Assembly as well as the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Adnan Botagi among others.

The NGO which comprises of a group of journalists from various media organizations selected the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board as the best in hajj camp services among the states Pilgrims Welfare Board in the country during the 2019 hajj exercise.
