The Government of the State of Osun under the leadership of Mr Gboyega Oyetola has given each of Osun Muslim pilgrim to this year 2019 hajj exercise a sum of 100 Riyal corresponding to ten thousand naira each.
The Amiru-l-Hajj, Alhaji Maruf Ishola disclosed this to journalists during the disbursement of the cash to pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Alhaji Ishola further stated that this was done in a bid to provide financial support to the pilgrims and make their spiritual journey more comfortable.
He further appreciated the interest and magnanimity of Governor Oyetola towards ensuring the welfare and comfortability of the Osun pilgrims.
He also thanked him for his continued support to the board.
The Amirul-Hajj commended Osun pilgrims for their cooperation urging them to pray for the State and Nigeria at large.
