The Executive director of Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu kuki has commended the board’s committee handling the 2019 Hajj Deposit refund exercise for their commitment, diligence and transparency during the refund exercise carried out across the Board’s zonal offices.
Alhaji Suleiman kuki was speaking on Tuesday while monitoring the refund exercise in Katsina katsina pilgrims welfare board office.
A statement by the PRO of the board Badaru Karofi on Wednesday said the director expressed delight on the way and manner the committee is handling the exercise.
The executive director also expressed satisfaction with the coordination strategies of the zonal officers and their assistants for effectively mobilizing the 2019 pilgrims during the disbursement exercise.
Also speaking, the committee chairman, who is also the director of finance of the board, Alhaji Usman Dalhatu thanked the executive director for his untiring undertakings in supporting the staff with the enabling environment to operate.
Commenting on the disbursement, some of the Pilgrims praised Governor Aminu Bello Masari and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria for the refund, which according to them came unexpectedly.
