The FCT Administration has secured a befitting accommodation for this year’s intending pilgrims in the holy city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The Director of FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Muhammad Nasiru Danmallam disclosed this while receiving the report on transparent selection of this year’s intending pilgrims for the FCT.
Mallam Danmallam said the accommodation is located at Hafa’ir area which is about 800 meters from the holy mosque in Makkah.
The Director explained that the location would enable the FCT contingent to perform their five obligatory prayers at the grand mosque with ease.
He stated that the FCT Administration through the Minister of state, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu was committed to ensure that intending pilgrims from the territory get the best services compare to other states of the federation.
He disclosed that due to her passion for better service to FCT intending pilgrims, the Honourable Minister of State Dr. Ramatu Tijjani A has promise to render all the necessary support to make this year’s hajj exercise a success.
