Hajj 2024: Bauchi Pilgrims Boss task staff on commitment, says preparations in advance stage

Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has reached an advanced hajj preparatory stage as part of the desire to ensure a hitch free 2024 Hajj operation.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris disclosed this during a meeting between the management and staff, held at the conference Hall of the Board, saying Governor Bala. Administration has made the well-being of pilgrims as part of the administration’s policy direction

He stated that the meeting was to resurrect the staff so as to live up to expectations adding that the Board will not condone any kind of misconduct capable of tarnishing its image or Govt image at large.

He charged the staff to continue to steadfast and commit to their duty, noting that the commitment of the staff during the past operation has greatly impacted on the successes recorded by the Board.

On the level of preparation, Imam Abdurrahman said his Board has complied with the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) directive of 12th February, 2024 to conclude sale and collection of Hajj fare.

He added that an adequate arrangement has been made for accommodations and catering for pilgrims in Makkah while other arrangements reached over 60% of preparation to avoid any hitches during the operation.
