Holders of ‘visiting or business visa’ will not perform Hajj this year – Saudi Hajj Ministry

Allowing hajj to be performed for only two non-saudi groups does not include visiting or business visa holders

 

The Saudi ministry of hajj and Umrah on Thursday identified only two non-Saudi categories that will be allow to perform hajj this year.

“Hajj can only be performed for those who hold a custom visa or reside in a regular residence within the kingdom,” the ministry said in a press release, which means that visitor visa holders, or business visas, cannot apply for a hajj permit this year,” okaz newspaper reported.

On the method and mechanism of hajj to perform hajj this year, and the number allowed for rahman’s guests to perform the obligatory duty both inside and outside saudi arabia, hajj and umrah confirmed that all details will be announced through the ministry’s official channels.

 

 

Last year’s hajj season was limited to only 60,000 Saudi citizens living within the kingdom, with the requirement that they receive the coronavirus vaccine, in a decision against the backdrop of the continuing pandemic.
